Licensed nurses (RN, LPN, ANP, CRNA), nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physicians (MD, DO), specialists, and other licensed healthcare professionals primarily in the United States. International panelists accommodated case-by-case for engagements requiring international reach.
Most verifications complete within 24-48 hours of submission. We cross-check state board databases (free, public) and the NPI Registry. Specialty-specific certifications (board certifications, specialty fellowships) are self-attested at intake and verified periodically against public registries.
Frequency depends on your specialty and topic interests. Active panelists in mainstream specialties (oncology nursing, primary care, cardiology) typically receive 2-6 study invitations per month. Rare-specialty experts may receive fewer but higher-paying invitations.

Carevoices is the entity that knows your identity. Study sponsors typically receive de-identified transcripts only — they don't know who participated unless you're in an unblinded engagement (rare; advisory boards). We never sell your data. Your identity is protected under our Business Associate Agreement with sponsors.
You can withdraw at any time. Email panelists@carevoices.health with your withdrawal request. We retain payment records for 7 years for IRS compliance, but stop sending study invitations immediately and remove your profile from active matching.
Yes — panelists are independent contractors. Carevoices issues IRS Form 1099-NEC for US panelists earning above the IRS reporting threshold ($600/yr). You're responsible for self-employment tax on the income.
